Handwritten English document on vellum. from 1741 with a large boxed black seal.
From the fourteenth year of reign of George II, King of Great Britain and Ireland, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg (Hanover) and a prince-elector of the Holy Roman Empire from 11 June 1727 until his death in 1760. Size c. 77 x 66 cm. Size of the seal 12 cm. Seal is broken up two parts. Some stains.

Large collection of c. 650 wax seals tiipped in album size: 34 x 21 cm. Mainly from Nordschleswig: official staps and family stamp from 18th and 19th Century.  Tipped in a ledger dated 1855 on 17 sheets. Interesting collection comprising Flensburg, Haderleben, Schleswig etc., part in Danisch. Some selas: Postamt Schleswig, Amt Flensburg, Kongelit Physicat Niebol, Husumer Amtsstube, Zollamt zu Penrade, Apenrader Amthaus, Haderslev Amtshus, Sanitetscoll. Slesvig etc.
